In 1869, German chemists discovered heliotropin, a molecule reminiscent of the sweet, powdery scent of heliotrope flowers. In 1865, Alphonse Piver and his son Lucien ingeniously incorporated it into a creation with round, vanilla-infused, and enveloping notes. Thus, Héliotrope Blanc, the archetype of powdery fragrances, was born.
This legendary perfume has transcended time and continents, reaching the Caribbean islands, where its story still lingers today.
